Harmonix Music Systems, Inc.

In March of 2016, I joined the team at Harmonix full-time to lead the core tech & game engine team, supporting numerous music game titles in-development at the studio (for PS4, XBox One, PC, and VR).

In 2017, I led the development of Super Beat Sports for the Nintendo Switch.

Presently, I am leading the development of an upcoming unannounced VR title.

Skillz, Inc.

Update: in 2017, Skillz was named #1 on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America.

I joined Skillz in 2013 as employee #6 shortly after it began as a seed-funded stealth-mode startup headquartered in the 3rd floor of an investor’s home.

With over $28M raised in total financing, Skillz has since grown into a 60+ person company with offices in Boston and San Francisco, 600 game studio partners, and hundreds of thousands of Skillz matches played daily.

Terrestrial Telecast

Terrestrial Telecast is an interactive visual installation showcasing the reinvention of analog broadcast television into technology art.

Two dozen battery-powered portable television sets (circa 1980s-1990s) are available for viewing and interacting with by participants.

Nearby, a low-powered broadcast station is transmitting video to various television channels. Participants are free to operate the televisions and “channel surf” across multiple channels of content.

Virtuality (2012-2017)
Creative Collective

Virtuality was born in the forests of Vermont during Firefly – a regional Burning Man event – and has since evolved into a collective of friends organizing music, art, and technology-focused events.

In addition to our theme camp at Firefly (which ran for six years), we threw five Boston-area events.
